Our Gather&Expert events aim to inform and empower you at every stage of your motherhood journey.
Join us for our first Gather&Expert event at Weetons, on Leeds Road, Harrogate.
Thursday 22nd May from 10.00–12.00pm.
We will be joined by Sarah Byrne, Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and Clinical Director of the Pelvic Health Clinic.
We welcome expectant mums, new mums and not-so-new mums. You can come alone or with baby (for this event up to 20 months old are welcome).
Our event features:
Our Pelvic Health Physiotherapist Sarah will be sharing her expert advice on what to look out for postnatally, how to rebuild strength safely, and how physiotherapy can support long-term pelvic health.
Sarah will also be answering any questions you may have on postnatal pelvic health. This could include: C-section scar management, Perineal tears & episiotomy care, Diastasis Recti (Abdominal muscle separation). Urinary stress / urge incontinence, Bowel dysfunction, Sexual dysfunction, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Return to running, Return to exercise.
Sarah will also be able to offer prenatal advice and answers any questions on: Pelvic girdle pain, Back and other musculoskeletal symptoms, Urinary incontinence, Optimising your pelvic floor, Preparing for Birth and Exercise guidance during pregnancy.
An opportunity to meet other like-minded mums, have time to relax, chat and ask questions.
Enjoy fresh fruit juice, a barista prepared hot drink, a freshly baked croissant and fresh fruit.
We will have a playmat and a selection of books and toys to entertain baby.
The wonderful @theyorkshirenannycompany will be on hand to help with your baby, so you can enjoy your coffee and listen to our expert.
We will also be joined by a professional photographer who will be there to capture the atmosphere and lovely moments.
This is the perfect opportunity to gather, relax and learn from our expert who is there to support you.
